I need to convert a DB from ACCESS 2 to ACCESS 2003. ACCESS 2003 says to get a converter from MS online but they say to contact them since no converter is available. Is there such a converter?

I doubt it.
Export the tables to a text file and import them.
You will probably have to redo all the forms and reports.
If this is a simple application it should not be a problem.
If a more complex one it *should* be done to update code and take advantage
of the many changes in Access.

Access 97 or Access 2000 will convert Access 2.0 databases to their own file
format (Access 2002 _may_ also work... I don't think I had occasion to try
it). Access 2003 will then convert the Access 97 or Access 2000 database to
its own format. If you don't still have a copy around, perhaps you can find
a colleague or acquaintance who does.

None of these, BTW, will convert any 16-bit API calls to 32-bit API calls,
so if you have used some, there will be manual conversion. There are a few,
but the operative word is _few_, other issues but most are minor. In fact,
except for API, almost all of my Access 2.0 databases converted without
additional manual modification.

I am not aware of a converter to go directly from Access 2 to 2003 (but that
doesn't mean that there might not be one of which I am unaware).

The access 2000 converter apparently works (but is not supported) if you
copy
it into the Access 2003 folder:

But - there is a way. You will need to find a computer with Access 2000
installed and obtain these two files: msacnv30.exe and msacnv30.dll.
Download those files into your C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11
