Having a problem seeing my Outlook Contacts from the "To" button on new email window.
Config:
--Outlook 2002, XP-Pro (client machine 1)
--Outlook 2000 SP3, XP-Pro (client machine 2)
--.pst files are on third computer on home LAN used as file server running W98
-- Have the same problem on both clients for User Account #1, but do not have the problem on either client for User Account #2. (User Account #2 has a different .pst file on the same file-server machine.)
--Contacts open just fine... can change, etc... all functionality works
--When I want to send a new email, and click on the "To..." button, I get the Select Names window and the "Show Names from the:" pull-down list shows "Outlook Address Book", "Contacts" and "Post Office Address List". Outlook Address Book is empty (as should be)... Post Office Address list correctly contains names in my old Windows Messaging postoffice (on same file server)... but when I select Contacts, I get the message:

"This address list could not be displayed. The contacts folder with this address list could not be opened; it may have been moved or deleted, or you do not have permissions."

Clearly the file exists and I have permission... the Contacts are already being accessed and shown properly when I select Contacts from the main Outlook window, and they are part of the same .pst file the client is using for email, calendar, etc. all of which function properly.

I have twice tried removing and adding back the contacts and the .pst file in the Tools/Services Window, but the error consistently appears for Account #1.

The "TO..." button properly shows addresses from all 3 directories for Account #2.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
THANKS

Found solution to this from another post... Thanks, Bill!!
Solution was: Right Click the Contact folder choose Properties and then Outlook Address Book > ensure check in "enable as email address book"
