Fine, how firm is the 'reqirement' for processor speed for
XP-home installation - if no video, no sound, no flash,
nothing of that sort on the system, how low in processor
speed will be useable. Please PLEASE respond to the e-mail
address, I may not be able to get back to this newsgroup.

Well, you may not be able to get back, but then most here will not do
support by email. If you want the answer to your question, you will have to
find your way back. If you cannot be bothered to make the effort to come
back, then I will not bother with the effort to answer your question (which,
by the way, is 233Mhz for the processor).

I get slow but acceptable performance from a Pentium 350 MHz with 320
MB RAM. I get unacceptable performance from a Pentium 200 with 320 MB
RAM.
