Absence of Offline Files Tab

The Offline files tab is NOT available in the folder
options in my computer. Why is it so? How can I make
the offline files tab be available again in that computer?

BTW, an easy way to find posts more than 12 hours old is to use the Google Groups
Advanced Search form for your searches. In the "Return only messages where the
author is" box enter your name, further refine your query using the Newsgroup and
Subject box, and then submit the search.
