Would anyone know how to take advantage of the
unpartitioned Hard Disk Space above 137GB after SP1 has
been installed in Windows XP pro?

Get Partition Magic

Partition the drive to use the space available or even reallocate from the primary partition to the newly created partition

Go slowly and reboot after each step to make sure you are still running.

Before using Partition Magic (version 8 or higher), be sure that SP-1 is
installed and 48-bit LBA is enabled. These are required for XP to see/use
the area of a disk above 137GB. Also, have you verified that your
motherboard's BIOS can handle a disk larger than 137GB? At one time they
were also limited to about this value. If a BIOS problem, then check with
your MB maker (or PC maker if a common brand like Dell, Gateway, Compaq,
etc) and hope for a newer BIOS (also called a BIOS flash), or think about a
PCI card with its own disk controller, that is rated for larger disks.
