Is there any way to get microsoft antispyware beta 1 i got defender but
microsoft has changed it soo much they have made it for idiots you can barely
do anything I like to know downloaded activex's but no you cant acces that
and you also cant choose more options on realtime protection its just check
this box or dont I was stupid to take beta 1 off cant someone help also
microsft should put more of the features from beta1 to beta2

I agree.

To revert back to Version 1.0.701 install the update in the C:\Program
Files\Microsoft AntiSpyware\TempUpdates (or whereever you installed it) dated
in December 2005 that you can install again and you will have Beta 1 until
July 31 2006. By then they hopefully will have solevd the problems and
listened to the advice people like you have given them.
 
Thanks i thought maybe i had screwed my computer over by downloading beta 2
microsoft should make beta 2 where there is an option for advanced stuff like
in beta 1 and the option to make it for people who arnt as computer smart i
like the design but not the new program
