Through this support group i was able to get dos-box on my xp windows in
order to play warcraft2 and things went good for awhile...i wasn't able to
play for a long time due to illness and i decided i wanted to get back
playing it and this is what happened

i just don't know what happened but i can't get the command promt to come
up...i put in the cd then click on play and the little black screen goes
right off and my screen goes black with nonething on it and the screen stays
black so i have to do ctrl alt delete or shut down my computer.....i have
read and reread everthing i can on this....but i can't get it to come up
where i can type in war2.....the only thing different is i have a new flat
screen that is 19 ins the other was not flat and was 17 ins.....also this
keeps coming up...........encourted a problem NTVDM-EXE is missing i have no
idea what this means also i had downloaded the xp to 7 and didn't like it so
i uninstalled it then i couldn't get to my bank account and called the bank
they said everyone was haveing the same problem because when i uninstalled
the 7 it was still on the hard drive so the bank figured up an alternate
route till they could fix this that is all i have done i sure hope someone
can help.....thanks again so much Patsy

OK this is probably due to the refresh rate of your new monitor being 60hz,
and DOSBox still using the old settings, or using a resolution too high for
the new monitor.

I don't have DOSBox installed at the moment so can't check what the options
would be. But if you look in the conf file there should be an option for
fullscreen true (1) or false (0), try using false that should run it in a
window. It may be numbers or the words.

If it then works OK in a window we know what the problem is and can work
from there.
