about "View" in Explorer

I got tired to convert "Large Icons" (default) to "Details". Is there a
way to make "Details" default for all folders in the Win 2K Explorer?

In the explorer window, open Tools > Folder-Options > View and there is
an option to set all folders like the current one.

How "sticky" it is, is anyone's guess. I've found that windows tends to
set thing back to an icon-view periodically without being asked.

You're welcome, it's easy to miss. In my mindset, it's not in the most
logical of places (I would have put it in the <View> drop-down from the
basic file/explorer window along with large-icons, small-icons, details
etc). But I guess everyone has their own perspective.
