Yoshi

It's about time all you software pirates pay for your software. We all know
the majority of you have illegal installs of XP on your pc's other than the
ones you bought. It's time to pay up or shut up.

You are all going down! =0}

That is extremist to say the least. A majority of the users who follow these
newsgroups are legal users of the software. While it is true that Vista will
have tighter restrictions of transfer piracy will unfortunately continue.

regards
Robert

Exactly =0}

I have to Apple's with OS X and I am far from impressed. In fact, I don't know what the fanboys get all excited about. I have more probs with those 2 macs locking up than I do with XP or Vista RC2.

Just because you pirated and got caught doesn't mean everyone -- or for that
matter, anyone -- else is in the same situation.

Huh?

I've shelled out thousands for Windows and Office and other Microsoft
software over the years. Microsoft has their blood from me, thank you very
much.

Blimey!

I think you better speak to my OEMs

Both (one in '96 and one in '005) supplied a non-compliant OS

My first PC came with Win 98 installed on it and ever since I've been buying
upgrades.I've never lent out my Win disks to anyone for the fear of braking
some rule and getting caught. I've gone as far as telling Friends and family
not borrow copies of any Win OS.

Why should I have to pay for the thieves out there?

I suppose that is one approach?

I call it the "Fear" approach.

The other way is: I am happy to uphold the EULA I chose to observe.

Did not want to reply, but just in case you missed the history class in
elementary school,

Our Constitution was not designed to prevent all possible abuses, in which
case, no Constitution will ever be needed. It was designed based on the
trust of people's goodness and to protect the best interests of the
majority. It relies on justice system and courts for preventing abuses.

This is the same attitude that I have for piracy, and for the recent
conducts of the company that violates the very fundamental belief of our
country.

You may wish to move to a country full with secret polices and that's more
fit to your bleift.

Mr. Yoshi, can you speak English?.

Steve,

You don't think anyone's going to respond to this with:

4 copies of pirated XP Pro

Do you?
