About the time it takes to save...

I'm entirely a newbie and I have just made a slideshow with about 3 minutes
of sound; When I try to save it the counter of how much time it will take
gradually goes up. After 10 minutes waiting and 0 % saved, it said I had to
wait 14 hours for it to be completed and the number kept rising, which
exceeds the time I can keep this computer on (6 hours). Is there any way I
can make the saving go faster, or just give up?
 
it's beyond being stuck... cancelling the proess is the right step.
