I have a special HDD(Toshiba 1.8").It was originally
installed WindowsXP of English editon. But I am a
Chinese. So I want to change the OS into WindowsXP or
Windows 2000 of Chinese edition.However,unfortunately,my
special computer does not support common standard devices
such as standard floppy,CD-ROM.So,I removed the HDD from
my special computer and connected it to the newest Toshiba
2010 notebook computer and copied an mirror of windows
2000 to it and began to install.when it was ok,I connected
the HDD to my special computer and started. Then the
computer can not sart and prompted"NTLDR is missing"?
Would you please tell me why and what I should do?

Did you COPY the Windows 2000 to this hard drive, or
install it correctly? The ntldr error NORMALY can be
fixed - but you need a CD-Rom to do so. Also - when you
install 2000 or XP - it notes the kind of hardware it's
installing with - if you install it on one computer and
then change the hardware (by moving the HDD to another
computer) it can "confuse" the OS when it boots. Would it
be possible to attach an EXTERNAL CD-Rom to your
computer? (By USB or Firewire?) This way you can install
2000 on your special computer.
