About MsConfig

Hello, I've encountered the same error about the MsConfig dialog box
automatically closing. I've tried entering that Expand command that
you've suggested but I get an error telling me that It cannot open the
input file......Any suggestions for me? I have my XP cd in and went to
cmd and typed the line of code......thanks for your help...... I
believe I got some kind of small virus from MSN messenger a file that
automatically asks you to open it and circulates through all your
contacts........Thanks

Are you running any kind of anti-virus software? If so, make sure the
definitions are up to date and scan your computer. If you aren't running AV
software, then get some (some is free - just Google).
