Hi all, I wonder if someone could tell me...

Environment:
W2K Server /w 2 LAN card, 1 public 1 private, private is going to hub and
hub to 2 clients workstation.

Problem:
Client 1 map to the server share folder and copy 100MB data to there.
In client 2, I use a packet monitor sw to monitor the packet. The result is,
the 100MB data is

FROM source IP: client1's IP.
TO destination IP: server public IP.

I just wonder why would not the destination IP is the server private IP,
which is 10.10.1.1

Thanks for any answering

Reorder adapters at Server's Network/menu
Advanced/AdvancedSettings/Adapters/Connections: move LAN connector to the
top.

It all depends on your name resolution and client routing configuration. If you look at the beginning of the trace you
should see name resolution taking place, where is it getting the ip address to connect to from?
