about installation of .net

i get the following error messages, while
installing .net.pls help

I have just looked up the error that you describe and the solution was
to install Windows updates, try updating your OS as much as possible and try
again.

Are you sure all virus scanners and system protection software is turned
off? When dies the error occur?
