I'm currently using Microsoft Office 2007 which includes Access. I have set
up a secondary language in my computer since this is required, however I have
set the default input language as English in Control Panel -> Regional
Settings. However everytime I try to create an Access database the default
input language is always my secondary language. This is getting very
annoying because I'll have to change my input language to every cell I jump
to. Can someone please help?

Click on the Office Button (upper left-hand corner), then select Access
Options (at the bottom, beside the Exit Access button). The first group at
the left should be "Popular", and there should be a Language Settings button
near the bottom.

i have done this. but it does not work !

my secondary language is Chinese Traditional.

i have installed Access 2007 on my PC which is Windows XP (Chinese
Traditional).

i want to input data in English, but it always triggers out Chinese
Traditional input.

Please help.

Hi,

I had the same problem.

After lengthy testing, I found that the problem only happens to certain fields within a table. Then I found the reason is due to the option "IME mode" of the fields are set to 'on'. Once I set it to 'off' the problem is solved!

Good Luck!
