About "Group Schedules"

Good morning,

I just created a daily schedule in the Group Schedules in Outlook with a
group of staff. If I click on the folder icon of each group member, some
open and some do not.

Does anyone know why some do not open? Does it mean they block from other
people looking up their calendars? If there is a way to block from other
people blocking, can you also tell me how?

Thanks.

Suggest you post some details in your question to get assistance. What version are your users using? Where is the delivery set to - personal folders or Exchange mailbox? What is different about the users whose free/busy does not display in the Group Schedule?

Hi Milly,

Thanks for the info. We are using Outlook 2003.

Where/how would I find the "delivery set to" info? I think the settings for
all the users would be the same because we only have one IT person.

Is there a particular setting that I need to be aware of for "Group
Schedules"? Please let me know I can check the setting.

Thanks.

Delivery location can be found using the Control Panel->Mail Icon->Email Accounts->View or Change. Highlight your account type and use the dropdown at the bottom to show either personal folders or mailbox. Report back which one it is.

Do you use an Exchange server or a hosted Exchange server?

As for only having one IT person, the settings can be mucked with (and often are) by the users. Delivery set to an Exchange mailbox will ensure that the calendar is available via Group Schedule. Delivery set to Personal Folders will not. (Users can and do change this setting.)

Delivery location is to Microsoft Exchange. We use Microsoft Exchange
server, not a hosted Exchange server.

Thanks.

Then check each user's free/busy to ensure it is working correctly - while there, ensure that each person is set to publish 12 months of free/busy.
