can i install multiply systems in the dynamic disk?
I have two disks, i want to establish a raid1 to have a high file security,
but can i
further install a win2003 on the computer?

You cannot install onto a dynamic disk. You will have to install on a basic
disk and then upgrade to dynamic disk.

You cannot install the system or boot partitions onto dynamic disks, so you
cannot have the OS on a software based fault tolerant volume. You will need
to implement hardware RAID for OS fault tolerance.

Striping, mirroring, and RAID-5 can only be used on the data volumes (as
they are initialised when the OS loads, therefore cannot run the OS).

Not really an AD question mind ;-)

Leo,

With the low cost of RAID controllers you should really do this in hardware.
Only at gunpoint would I ever deploy a production server with software RAID.
This is a personal preference, but, in my experience, it is a lot more
trouble than it is worth.

If this is not an option, forget it and spend your energy on an effective
backup strategy.
