items are included: 1. active directory(NTDS) 2.The boot files 3.the COM+
class registration database 4.the registry 5.The system
volume(sysvol).[Refer to microsoft article]. But i can't find where is Active

Hello,

What application are you using to make your backup? Are you looking for NTDS
within the backup program or where it resides on the hard drive?

I believe in Backupexec, you can expand System State and access the
individual components in a backup, but Ntbackup does not have this
capability. Can you describe in detail what you are trying to do. Thanks.
