Able to Ping and serch Computers

Hello, I have a strange problem on my MS2000 workstation PC.
This PC was working fine all along until today. I can ping the PCs around me
but I cannot browse the internet because IE freezes and I cannot telnet
either. Something got corrupted. I already unistalled /re-installed TCPIP and
that didn't work.
