Ability to import tables from supposed secure database BE

I thought that I had successfully secured our database
(both front and back ends), but when I go to import any
of the objects from the "secure" database into a new or
different database, I am allowed to do so, even when
logged on as a "read-only" user. I've looked all over and
can't seem to find the answer. Does anyone here have any
suggestions about what I am doing wrong?

Thanks,

Heather

Hi Heather,

What Group is that user apart of?
Check the permissions of the Group. Make sure it does not have Administer
permissions for those objects in question.

Also, when logging into the database are you being prompted for a User Name
and Password? If not, then you are logging into the database as the Admin
account who might still be apart of the Admins Group.

I hope this helps! If you have additional questions on this topic, please
respond back to this posting.
