Hello:

I was wondering if anybody out there knows if you can
change the setting in Frontpage 2002 to stop abbreviating
the "picture source" address of a picture in the picture
properties page("file/picture.jpg" instead
of "www.myweb.com/file/picture.jpg")?

I understand you can go into the page properties and
insert the "base location", ie, www.myweb.com, but I've
been running into sites, specifically ebay, that the base
location is not recognized. When this happens, I need to
go thru the document inserting the base location
everywhere I have a picture file--very time consuming.

Any help would be appreciated. Please reply to my email
address since I don't think I'd be able to find this site
again. Thank you.

There is no way for FP to set a absolute URL, as FP can not manage absolute
URLs.

You have to manual set the URL or publish the site to your host, and then
link to each image on the remote site from your local copy and reply no if
FP prompts you to copy the image to your local copy when saving the page.
