Multiple executables bring up this error message:

"the procedure entry point for getcliuntrect could not be
located in the dll user32.dll"

I updated the BIOS, installed latest service pack, and
cleaned up the startup group. Still getting it.

Any ideas out there?

did u try, start --run -- msconfig....

Sounds like your Windows Registry is corrupted. Now, I
suggest this method over all the rest. Buy the Norton
System Works 2003 or 2004 by Symantec if it is out, and
insert the CD, run Utilities from CD Choice that will come
up, run Win Doctor, and click Fix All, and presto, your
problems are generally solved. You should do this before
any install, and after rebooting after an install, run it
again, this corrects a lot of computer issues, believe me.
For some reason, I don't have the answer for, the windows
registry gets corrupted a lot with Active X Problems and
file problems. It tells you what problems are fixed, and
most generally are the majority of the time. Nobody
should be without this program.
