Getting in contact with with ASUS tech support is a major pain in the
butt. I can't get LiveUpdate to download BIOS images. Are the
downloadable awd's comptible LiveUpdate BIOS images?

why use live update???...if you can't do it manually I would not do it at
all. I know of people frying there BIOS doing it the Live update way.

What the other guy said.

You wouldn't want to be back here (with an even more frustrated subject
line), using another machine asking how to fix a corrupt BIOS.

Check my FAQ for details on how to flash the BIOS (at least, with the '7NX
and probably most Award 6 BIOS)

Because when I had my machine built, I overlooked putting a floppy drive
in it, so it was either this, or put in a floppy drive. I eventually did
get LiveUpdate to work by selecting "passive" and got it updated.
