I'm planning to buy a A8v-deluxe with a new "Venice" cpu (3500+).
AFAIK the board is currently shipped with 1009 Bios, but the "Venice"
needs a 1011 to run.

Anyone knows if the A8v 1009 at least POST with the "Venice", for the
possibility to flash the bios?
Or does the bootable floppydisk the trick?
When will newer A8v have the 1011 "on board"?

Any experience?

TIA
Peter

I suspect it would at least boot with some really conservative parameters,
allowing you to flash to 1011.

side note: 1011 has been working very well for me w/ the following
