Hi, I would like to have a go at overclocking my system, but quite honestly
have no idea where to start. Do any of you guys know of a good site with
helpful advice that particularly deals with the A*N-Sli ?

Many thanks,

Jon

For all round info go here:
http://www.overclock.net/

They have forums for AMD CPU's and AMD Motherboards

Thank you Peter, I had a look, and can see that the site is packed with good
info. I am hoping to find something that really tackles the A8N-SLi in
particular. I guess I want to make life easy for myself by just copying the
settings that others have found to be reliable. I realise that each machine
(even with the same hardware) will behave differently, but I am willing to
give that a go. I find myself overwhelmed by too much information, and find
it difficult to know what applies to my particular setup.

Cheers,

Jon

If you want to OC then info about the CPU is just as relevant as the
motherboard.
Your motherboard will need different settings depending on what CPU you have
installed.

An A8N-SLi with a A64 3000+ will have totally different OC settings than a
A64 3500+.
Even CPU's that are of the same type will not perform the same to the same
OC.
So it is not possible to answer the question that you asked. That is why I
pointed you to the site that had info on all aspects of OC.
