A8N-SLI Deluxe does not boot!

I just got this MB and assembled in an Antec case with 380 W PS. The
setup will not boot at all. The light on the MB comes on, the fans are
running etc. I used a 20 pin to 24 pin adapter and also plugged in the
12v coonector. I cleared the CMOS several times. I tried connecting the
lime color out line to a speaker to hear the POST message, but nothing
comes on. There is no BIOS beep either. I installed a 6600GT PCI-E
card but I guess without any POST code, it may not be relevant. Any
help?


I read in another board that trying with a new power supply might
help. Is that true?

You need a new motherboard.
Same thing happened with the first board I got.
It ran long enough to setup the raid drive, format the raid drive and
after I inserted the XP cd and restarted machine, I had same thing
happen. Fans would spin, led on motherboard lit up and that was all.
Tried all sorts of things and finally took my motherboard and cpu in
to store where I bought it. They tested and found out board was no
good, replaced it with another and its been working fine since. No
lockups or hiccups. Didn't really do much gaming on it....tried half
life 2 and worked ok except for a bit of audio proplems, but have seen
posted thats its a game problem. I have an MSI 6600GT in my machine.
THe other things people have noticed with this board is power supplies
and the type of ram....
