WRONG. Most memory is un-buffered.

Most memory is not buffered. Buffered is usually referred to as
"registered" SDRAM and has extra chips which delay the signals by one
clock cycle. This is normally used only on servers that want it in order
to be able to have more DIMMs on the same memory bus.

Thanks for your answer.
I plan to use 2x512MB memory board from CORSAIR:
CORSAIR Twinx XMS 2x512Mo PC3200 Cas 2
but apparently this kind of mem is buffered. It's right?
What is the best memory to use on this A8N SLI mboard ?

but I don't know if this kind of mem is unbuffered.
May i assume that if it's not specify RGISTERED, that there are unbuffered ?

What is the best memory to use on this A8N SLI mboard with AMD 3500+ 0.09u ?

I don't think that is buffered memory, but I don't know if that is the exact
model number. What makes you think so?

You can post a question on the Corsair forum on their web site if you have
any questions.

When I try to order these 2 mem modules, the web site says: Buffered: YES
but it seems that TECHNICAL info on sale web site are frequently wrong !
not the prices !
(wrong also for the delivery delay !!!)

Thanks for hte idea about corsair forum.
