The A8N-E has a temp sensor (ITE8712F-3) located at the mosfets. This
sensor is displayed by MBM5. At idle it reads about 24°C, 2 degrees
above ambient. If Prime95 is started it raises to 40° almost instantly
and climbes further to nearly 60°. It fact, it runs hotter than the
CPU. As quick as this temp goes up, it drops back when Prime95 is
stopped.
I've never seen temps of mosfets before so I don't know what's normal
for these components. The reason I ask is that I can't run Prime95 for
over an hour without getting an error. And I haven't started oc'ing
yet.
