A7V8X-X with FreeBSD

Hi folks.

Does anyone here run FreeBSD 5.x on a A7V8X-X motherboard? Does it work OK?
All the onboard hardware supported OK?

I ask because FreeBSD 5.2.1 panics when I try to boot it on my A7N8X-Deluxe.
I'm hoping the different chipset will not have this problem.

Try disabling ACPI at boot time. I'm running 4.10 cvsup'ed to 4-Stable
just fine right now on an A7N8X-Deluxe 2.0. Or try 5.3. If you're not
running dual procs or really new hardware or periphs perhaps 4.x is
the way to go, until 5.x settles down. (Yes, I know 5.3 is '-Stable'
but I take the word "production" seriously (moreso than I have to,
actually.))
