A7V8X-X not booting

I am trying to install an A7V8X-X and can't get it past the POST. The
LED on the board is green but the board only beeps on startup. It is
one long beep - that doesn't stop. I have double checked all the
connections but can't see what the problem is - Any ideas??

Are you using an AGP video card? If so, make sure the card is fully
plugged into the AGP slot and it is not on an angle, even a slight angle
can cause problems with it connecting.

I just solved my own problem - an unseated DIMM was the culprit. All
is OK - for now.

Make sure the HSF is on properly. Sometimes they hung up on the step in the
socket. Also make sure your PSU is rated around 400W. You might get by with
300W to 350W depending on what you have hooked up. Also make sure the memory
is seated all the way in the slot.
