Running Win2k SP4.

It's been a while, so I can't remember *exactly* when this started
happening, but I believe that my PC stopped restarting properly a couple
of months ago when I upgraded the BIOS from 1004 to 1005.

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this or has fixed it. When
I restart windows or hit the reset button my PC doesn't actually
restart. It'll blank the display, re-init the IDE devices, and just hang
there. Any thoughts?

(Also in the system: Adaptec 29160, Augigy 2, AIW Radeon 7500)

If you want to try another BIOS, click the BIOS, then the Beta button
on the download page for your board. Asus never records what is
changed in the Beta, so it is a crapshoot as to whether your problem
will be fixed or not. Once the BIOS goes to release status, a new
entry will be added to the history link.

Yeah, I'm just very wary of using a Beta BIOS. Especially as that one
has been up for quite a while.
