i received my new atx case today and installed the motherboard.

the case has a front panel, with two usb ports and line-in and mic. i can't
find anywhere on the motherboard (A7V333) where i can attach the cables
(lots of cables similar to the powerup, speaker cables you get, but are
single in size and have either + or -.

there are also two cables similar to the ones which fit into the
line-in/line-out and mic which you find on the back of the pc.

sorry if this all sounds messy, but it's the only way i can describe it.

many thanks

OK!
Gonna have a go at this one.
If your case has audio plugs and usb plugs its simple
you just feed them out the back & plug into the appropriate sockets.
On the other hand.
If you case has lots of little wires with tiny single pin plugs on the end.
You have to use spare usb connectors on the m/board, or remove rear usb
connector off the m/board, and fit the wires in its place.
Either solution will "A" use the rear sockets up but you get them at the
front.
Or disables the rear sockets & you get them at the front.
In the 2nd case its too complicated to gues the connections here because
there are so many combinations.
But the case info supplied should give you a clue eg: +/- pins etc, in
order for you to match the m/board instructions.

The motherboard manual will take the guesswork out of it for you. Page 40,
bottom pic. Connect your front usb connectors there.
