All,
Does anyone know where I can find a direct replacement for my KT133
Chipset fan on my A7V133-C motherboard??? The name on the fan says that
it is an ARX CPU Cooler. I cannot find one locally. Any help would be
appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Peter

Skip the fan, just use a heatsink. That has to be the cheapest worst
fan I have ever seen. Zalman makes a nice heatsink, for the
northbridge, just get the new version with the moveable mounting
points. (seen it for as cheap as $5)

To supply a data point, I installed a Talking NB32J A7V133. The board
has holes in the right places, so I didn't need to use Talking thermal
epoxy. The heat sink cools fine, probably better than the supplied fan,
looks better and is of course much quieter.

That'll teach me to auto-spellcheck... :-)

A 'talking NB32J'? You mean a Zalman NB32J right?
A ZM-NB47J is nice also.
BTW, quick search shows it at bestbyte.net for under $6 + shipping.
Note, I haven't ordered from them before, I just saw they have some
cheap prices. Check resellerratings.com for info on them (and all
mail order places)

Just Flick the fan with your finger while it's running, repeat
frequently....doesn't like being left horizontal....probably not needed.
Every 6 months or so mine startes to roar.
