A7S333 Audio Problems and other problems

After reinstalling Win XP Pro, I reloaded all my documents and
after playing music for a few hours, I then shut down my PC
for the night and when I reboot and I start to play music, no sound
comes out. The speakers are wired up correctly but it doesn't work
under SuSE Linux 9.0 Personal either.

Another Q:

Why will the AGP slot not come out of 2x mode, when I try it in
the 4x mode, it bombs out on the Win XP login screen, my graphics card
is a XFX GeForce 4 TI4200.

I had some problems with my XFX GeForce FX5200 card and WinXP.. I
downloaded the Universal Driver from nVidia(52.16), problems fixed.
Worth a shot if you haven't already done it.
