Sorry for my poor english

Bonjour
I just bought this MB and have problems
Impossible to install Nforce drivers correctly with the CD

Impossible to get my DSL connection with an ECI USB modem Connection runs
and seems to be openned but impossible to open any internet site
Boot is very long and sometimes reboot automatically
I already changed memory from MDF to ELIXIR
is it a problem between mty old ECI Modem ??
It is the first time I buy ASUS ... It's the first time Ihave so many
problems with a Main board
Thank you for any help
Bruno

I didn't think that the newer asus boards had proper drivers for older
opertating systems like 98SE anymore. I have only seen problems reported
when using this legacy OS with newer boards like the A7N8X or P4x800
series. I would suggest you move up in the OS world, W2K will work fine,
and XP will be well suited to this board.

Test the memory with memtest86+ from http://www.memtest.org
Make certain the memory clock rate is the same as the FSB clock rate.
The memory should be completely error free, before you try to use
Windows.

For drivers, there is some advice here:
