This may be a totally n00bish question, but. When I startup it goes thru
the post and lists the cpu and the memory. Displays the fsb as 133mhz. Is
that correct for waht I have on this board? Athlon XP 1800+ with 512 of
PC2100 DDR. This is my first asus board and the first board I've had that
ever displayed that info.

The reason I bought this board was because it supports DDR400 which means
more use out of this board down the road.

Thanks

Jim

It doesn't display the DDR speed, just the speed set in BIOS.

Athlon XP 1800+ (1533MHz)
133MHz FSB
11.5x Multiplier

PCxxxx - DDR / MHz
PC2100 - 266 / 133

Your question has already been answered further on in this group. Just
a remarque: Why, if you want this board because of the support of
ddr400, do you use pc2100 ddr?? ddr400 means pc3200 ddr!
Thanks

It's very simple really, that's what I have at the moment. I bought this
board to be able to upgrade later.
