Just received new A7N8X ver. 2.0 with bios 1006. Is there any need to

T'bred. Thanks, sdlomi

If you mean the A7N8X Non-Deluxe v2, I'm still using 1004 on mine , zero
problems to date.

Great! What ram do you use (I only have single-channel, 2700 RK-Byte
256 mb, DDR.)? Overclocking? If so, what is your stable result? TIA,

2388MHz @ 1.825v is as far as I ever pushed it, I usually run it at

Using the onboard sound with RealTek Wdm_a349 drivers to enable 6CH
sound isn't too, should have an Audigy 2 here to play with by next week.

FWIIW, I just flashed my 1005 to 1007 to get the latest SATA Bios and had no
issues. In fact, I flashed back to 1005 and then back to 1007 (I was
chasing a problem that I thought was the BIOS but it wasn't) and didn't have
any issues.
