Hello, I've got an asus A7N8X-X and it seems that the mobo has only one
audio output... no ? And how can i do with my 5.1 speakers, where can i plug
the rear speakers ? The mobo specifications say that it supports 6 channel
for the sound, but i don't know how....
The below, copied from the ASUS FAQ file for the A7N8X-X: (insure
NForce/AC'97 drivers are installed) Hope that it helps ya.

For 5.1 channel output, you have to check two settings for the system
after loading the NVIDIA driver.
In Control Panel -> Sound and Audio Devices Properties
1. Click advanced button of "Device volume" -> select options -> check
advanced controls then the advanced button will appear. Click it to
enter -> check both "rear speakers connected to line in" and "Center
speaker and subwoofer connected to microphone".
2. Click advanced button of "Speaker setting" -> select 5.1 surround
sound speaker in "speaker setup". Then connect the 5.1 channel speaker
to the rear jacks and play an audio file or DVD that supports 5.1
channel to make sure this works.
