A7N8X-X and AGP 4x

The A7N8X-X's specifications state that it supports AGP 8X. I have an
older AGP 4x videocard that I wish to use on this motherboard.

Can I use an AGP 4x video card on this motherboard? is it backward
compatible, or do I actually need to buy an 8X AGP video card?
 
You should be fine as the Mobo is backwards compatible to AGP 2x I
think.

check the voltage of the card , to ensure it is compatible.

A7N8X accepts 1.5v AGP cards only.

Yes you can use it.

I'm running my Leadtek Winfast A250 Le TD TI4200 with no problems.

I've even left the BIOS set to AGP8X. :)
