I recently upgraded my proc to an Athlon XP 3200 and didn't get PC
3200 RAM. When I ran aquamark and 3D Mark 2001 my scores were much
loer than they were with the 2600. I set the CPU at 200mhz and left
the memory at 166. Would this mismatch cause the system to be slower?
I'm going to buy 3200 ram but I want to know before I do if this is
what the problem is.

Thanks,
Eric

Nforce chip set usually prefers the cpu and ram to be run in sync.

how can you set the CPU to 200 when you have 2700 Ram??...I know there is
options for that but if it works you are severely OC'ing your RAM..and as
Doug said..these setups prefer to be set to 100%..so if RAM is at 200..so is

You can actually loose performance running CPU and Ram out of sync.
