My computer didn't power up this morning so I opened it up and had a look to
find the red AGP voltage warning LED shining. I thought my graphics card
must have died so I swapped it for another only to find the same symptoms.

I powered everything off, went to make a coffee, and when I came back
switched it back on and this time it booted fine - but the red LED is still
on.

The graphics card is a Creative Geforce 4200 and has been in flawless use
since January.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Simon.

It must be screwed up, the manual says..
Serving as a smart burn-out protection this red LED lights up
if you plug in any 3.3V AGP card into the AGP slot. When this LED is
lit, there is no way you can turn on the system power!

I'd look at the PSU, if it's fine then it's probably the mobo since a
Ti4200 shouldn't be a problem if it's in working order.
