A7N8X No boot to USB

For anyone interested:

Q: Is it possible to boot to a USB or IEEE 1394 Firewire device on
A7N8X/A7N8X Deluxe?

A: No. A7N8X Deluxe BIOS can not support this function.

I'm certainly scratching my head on this one as I can set my bios on my
A7N8X Deluxe R2.0 to boot off of a USB zip drive for which my pen drive is
capable of emulating and I can boot up to my USB pen drive.

While I don't think you can boot from a firewire device, you certainly can
from several USB type devices including USB HDD's. My bios is v1006.

I suspect that the Asus tech reference mentioned below is an old one. I'd
recommend downloading the MB manual and checking that for the specifics.
