Ok...I have a A7N8X and a cheap 512meg 2700. But when I run it at 333 mhz
games
crash. But if I run it at 266 there fine. Heres the kicker. I have a 2400+
and if I am just running in XP...on the net or doing other things It runs at
333 and higher no problems. I have gotten it to run at 2.3 ghz. But again
running games
it crashes..so I know its the memory but and I missing a setting in the BIOS
that I don't know about?

Your 2400+ runs at 133*15 = 2.0GHz, right?

This board/chipset likes the RAM to run in synch, so make sure that your FSB
and memory bus are set to the same speed. 100% is the setting of choice.

So you can either run:
RAM at 133MHz, 266DDR and CPU at 133MHz*15 = 2.0GHz
OR:, preferably:
RAM at 166MHz, 333DDR and CPU at 166MHz*13 = 2.16GHz

Now the latter is an overclock, ordinarily I would suggest 166MHz*12 =
2.0GHz, but you can't easily do less than 13 multiplier with that board as
it requires the 5th bit, which isn't supported. If you do go for the
latter, make sure your tempuratures are sane... much more then 60°C at load
is pushing it.

try running the cpu at above sto9ke speeds and use the ram ratio setting to
set the ram slower than the cpu that way u will find the max cpu speed then
u will know the ram limitation try lower cas settings etc if no luck buy
more expensive ram

xp2600+@2400mhz 218x11 oczddr twin platinum el ram @22315
