Depends on what CPU you have.
Is it a 266 fsb, 333 fsb or a 400 fsb one?
For 266 fsb memory needs to be at 133Mhz, for 333 fsb memory to be at 166MHx
and for 400 fsb, memory to be at 200MHz.

I am running a athlon 2400 processor

XP2400 TBred?
XP2400 runs on a 266(DDR) fsb, memory is at 133MHz.
External cpu freq = 133MHz
Ram should be in sync so cpu and ram need to be 133MHz.

Thanks for the info.

An XP2400 (Thoroughbred) has a clock speed of 2.00Ghz (15 x 133).

You should be able to improve performance by switching to 10 x 200 FSB to
match your memory (no overclocking involved), if your system can handle that
high an FSB. Set your memory to 100% in the BIOS.

Mine loses stability above 190 FSB. :(

Yes and it runs on a 266FSB at 133MHz cpu freq.
