Hi there

Im trying out the onbord sound on my mobo and im using it with some
creative 6.1 speakers so im using it in 6 channel mode.

However is there a way i can connect anything to the line in socket. I
need to use it for my camcorder ( svideo + audio lead )

Either that or could i get an adapter to so that i can convert the
svideo and the audio lead into a single firewire connector?

Its a pain not being able to use the line in.

obviously i could switch to 2 speaker mode and swap the jacks round
when i use line in but thats a bit inconvienient to go rooting under
my desk

thanks

If it's the same as my non-E version, you should be using the Lime
jack(Front L/R), the Pink and Black ones should still be free for a Mic
or other line-in devices. The other 2 speaker connections should go to
the Purple(Rear L/R) and Orange(Center/Sub) jacks under the parallel
port. Check page 5-11 of the manual. If you use the newest version of
drivers from nVidia's web site it will help you set it up easier than
trying to use the nVswap program. HTH
