I had never really given it any thought
I had always used the standard Fan and heat sink provided with
the AMD cpu's. Over the last 12 mounths I have had 6 or 7 cpu's
ranging from 2100+ to 2800+.
I have Just purchased a A7N8X-E
And the cpu 2600+ is out of my last system A7N8X-X
which I was really happy with.
Recently we had a really hot day about 43 c and the cpu temp reached
about 60.
What I would like to know is this Temp expectable I noticed the system test
voice said it failed the test
{only once or twice}
because of overclocking but this was overclocked , I suspect it assumed this
because of the heat.Has anyone else
seen this.
Also what are people using to cool there CPU's and how much success are you
all having the before and after
This makes for a good topic .
cheers

Pretty hard to keep a PC/CPU cool with a room temp that high. I don't
like to get my 2500+ over 60 but my room temp is normally 24/25!
I sould say it was not overclocked

OK but be sure it's the diode temp and not the socket temp, otherwise
that can be trouble!

My room temp is 80F and the cpu temp is 47-50c

It might be time for a bigger Fan and Heat sink
I was having a look in a shop very hot in there I might add
Got him to reboot and check his hardware
