Hi,

Could be an issue with your system clock.....change that, come back and then
ask again.

Why cause he's an american and he cant invision a -8 GMT offset?
If the poster posted from hong kong then his time would have been correct.
Who are we to say where the original poster was from

Are you trying to say that theyre the only one with a different timezone on
here?

From my experience if you're in a different time zone the time is
translated, e.g american posts in the middle of the night?

Where did you get that number from?

Maybe, but his time zone wouldn't... since when did Hong Kong use CET
(GMT-5)?

The poster had his time zone set to CET. If he IS in CET, then his
computers time should be blatantly wrong, if he IS NOT in CET then his time
zone is configured improperly.

If his time zone is correct, and his time is correct, he will not appear to
post from the future.

Those of you who's excuse is that "they are posting from a different time
zone" is a moron. It doesn't matter where or when they post, if their
computer is configured correctly, they will not appear to post from the past
or the future, merely the present.

damn, you were actually right. my timezone had changed !

<snip>

Well I hope that fixing you PCs clock solves your problem with the
SiL3112 and WinXP! ;)

And be careful, next you'll cope an earful for top posting.

Anyway back to the original issue, have you tried downloading the
latest driver available from Asus, uninstalling the current one and
then installing the freshly downloaded version?

Cheers

Anthony

I live in Denmark, which means GMT +1 (+6 hours of Atlanta).

I've noticed the issue with the time before, and also gotten my share of
"hey idiot - don't you know the time!" ;-)

the solution was to go directly to silicon for the latest driver. it fixed
the issue and improved my boot speed substancially..

Yet I see your system clock still has "issues"

And yet:

Your time zone is CET.
