Anyone experiencing this? When cold booting system hangs before post.
After reset it boots perfectly. Wondering if this could be a glitch
in bios version 1005 as I think it started after bios update. I don't
think its a power supply issue as after reset it boots fine.

I'm running:
XP2600/333
400 w Antec
2-256 pc2100 (I'll get better ram when prices drop)
Pri/Master-ATA100 40gig
Pri/Slave-ATA66 20gig
Sec/Master-DVDrom
Sec/Slave-CDRW
SATA1-ATA100 20gig w/Iwill converter
SATA2-not used
AGP-Gainward Ti-450(Ti-200) Golden Sample (old but still a great card)

I'm seeing the same thing with ver 1004. I also have the same problem
on an IBM board with a P4 1.6 chip. After watching the start up, I've
concluded it is the auto drive detection routine causing the delays on
both machines.

Find any way around this?
