A7N8X Deluxe Sound Problem

Hi,

Under Win98 Windows Media player doesn't play mp3 properly
("stutters"). Winamp works fine.

I've tried updating to MP 9, DirectX 9 and latest sound driver (from
Asus homepage) without success.

Any ideas?

Sorry, I forgot. It's Nvidia and Win98 SE.

Check the asus website, there are new sounddrivers there.

You probably need this hotfix from Microsoft:
