I finally got things up and running. Everything is working great but. My
system won't shut down through Widows
and it takes over two minutes to boot past VARIFYING
DMI POOL
other than that it rocks.

I'm running like I said the A7N8X Deluxe.
And:
AMD Barton 2500
ATI 9700 pro
512 meg crucial 3200 DDR
LG DVD burner
DVD CD player
Maxtor 160 GIG SATA hard drive
on Windows XP SP1
and that's about it
I'm running the latest SATA drivers
loaded at XP startup.
Can anyone help me on this? Thank In Advance

The easiest way to troubleshoot this one is to pull cards/drives until it
works nicely. Then try to figure out why said card/drive is causing
problems booting/shutting down.

Thanks Ben
I missed out telling you something, I have Windows XP on another HD, it's a
WD 80gig ATA 133.
When I boot with that drive on it worked fine. I don't have a spare drive
now :o(. Any suggestions.

Well... now I'm confused.

Does it work with just the WD?

Does it work with just the Maxtor?

Does it work when both are in?

Do the CD drives seem to affect it?

please complete the following:
Primary Master:
Primary Slave:
Secondary Master:
Secondary Slave:

SATA: Maxtor.

And when you say you're runnig the latest SATA drivers... .40? What about
the BIOS?

Which nForce Driver package? 3.13? With or without the SW IDE drivers?
